I have always wanted to do a fun session at the Indiana State Fair! I also happen to love anything vintage. So I thought it would be so much fun to have a vintage theme photo session at the fair. This is where our friends Stephen & Stephanie came in! Stephen knew Cory from college and is beginning photography in Chicago. His girlfriend, Stephanie agreed to come down from Minnesota to do the photo session.
It was so much fun hanging with these two and we have some sweet photos to share! We enjoyed cotton candy, a ferris wheel ride, and ended the day with some fried oreo's, snickers, reese cups, and a lemonade shake-up!

We love getting to photograph people that we already know! We actually knew Kyle & Jenn before God began to intertwine their lives together. We knew them both from the ministry we were involved in college, so needless to say, we were excited when they asked us to photograph their wedding!
The wedding took place in Merrillville/Crown Point, Indiana and we could have not asked for a more beautiful day, wedding, and couple. Their ceremony had a theme titled " Portrait of the Gospel" and we would agree to say that the day displayed the theme throughout. Plus, we knew most of the wedding party, so it was a blast to photograph everyone.

Wes & Dominique had beautiful weather for their wedding day. Dominique was the Maid of Honor in a wedding we photographed last year. ( we just love getting to photograph people from past weddings. )
Wes & Dominique incorporated a lot of details that were important to them and most uniquely they had a winter themed wedding in August!

Derrick & Anna are such a fun couple! We loved getting to photograph their engagement pictures at the IMA and we couldn't be any more excited about their wedding later this month!

Our last wedding in July was Jon + Megan's. They kept it sweet and simple and we enjoyed getting to be a part of their day. The outside of the church provided a beautiful backdrop for pictures. Cory was highly jealous of their getaway car and we must say that we are also a bit envious of their honeymoon to Alaska!

We just love getting to watch our clients grow up. One of our smallest clients, Amira is such a beautiful little girl! Mary & David will definitely have their hands full when she gets older!
This photo shoot was for Amira turning 2. We can't believe how fast these little ones grow up. It feels as though we just photographed Amira's 1st year pictures and here we are a year later and she is 2 and we found out she is going to be a big sister! How exciting! We can't wait to meet your little brother Amira and Happy Birthday!
