Happy Wedding: Nick + Zuleica

May 23, 2010

This was truly a happy wedding. You could see that from Nick & Zuleica's friends and family. It was so neat to be part of a joyous celebration and to see their love exuberate!

The wedding was absolutely beautiful and Zuleica was incredibly laid back, even when we had to move everything inside due to pending rain. Zuleica had a great attitude and went with the flow! Of course, when you are getting married at the Mavris, there is nothing bad about having your wedding move indoors. This location is absolutely beautiful inside and out. As the night falls, you can see the beautiful city landscape glow, creates a romantic atmosphere!

Congratulations Nick & Zuleica!

Day in the Park: Sauer Family

May 21, 2010

Last weekend we went to the park to photograph the Sauer family. Aaron and Ambrosia have the cutest and the most full of energy boys! I imagine they never have a dull moment with four boys and three of them being triplets!

We love getting to be around this family. We photographed them this past fall and the boys were extremely shy. This time around we were able to get a couple smiles out of them. I think the playground softened their hearts towards the camera. :)

Engaged: Amy + Travis

May 19, 2010

We just wanted to say how much fun we had with Amy & Travis and getting to know this couple better! May has been a really gloomy and rainy month so far; however, we were able to catch a perfect evening at the IMA. The weather was absolutely perfect and we couldn't have picked a better day to do Amy & Travis' engagement session.

{Baby Bump} Melanie

May 18, 2010

We are so excited to meet Melanie and Damien's little boy in a few weeks. While they are awaiting the arrival of their newest addition, we took some awesome baby bump photos.

They will make a beautiful family!

Engaged to be Married: Jon + Megan

May 15, 2010

Last week we had the opportunity to take some unique engagement pictures! We started with Jon & Megan's motorcycles and then we had the opportunity to take some awesome pictures at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. We ended the engagement session at the abandoned Busch Stadium where the Indians used to play.
We knew we weren't going to be able to get any pictures on the track, so we walked around back of the Indy 500 Museum to see if we could get any pictures. We got stopped by security saying we couldn't be there. We told him we were just taking engagement pictures. He then told us to hold on and he made a phone call. Then, got off the phone and told us to get in the vehicle! He gave us a personal tour of the track ( we actually drove on it) and he stopped at a couple locations to get a some sweet photos! We are thankful for these once in a lifetime photos!

Then, we headed over to the Arts Center/Garden in Broad Ripple. The weather was perfect and we really enjoyed getting to know Alicia & Randy! We are super excited for their September wedding!

Happily Ever After: Mike + Tracy

May 5, 2010

This past weekend we were able to experience seeing Mike & Tracy get married; not just as photographers, but friends. We have known Mike & Tracy since college and it has been really neat to see how God orchestrated their lives together.

The wedding was in Plymouth, Indiana and the weather was beautiful. Tracy- you make a beautiful bride; inside and out. Mike- you have an amazing vision for your lives. We are encouraged by the both of you. Thanks for letting us be a part of your day. Congratulations and we hope your enjoying Anguilla!

Newlyweds: Nate & Jenna

May 3, 2010

We loved getting to know Nate & Jenna! They were such a fun couple to photograph and had a fun wedding party as well! They saw each other beforehand and it made the day much smoother! The rain held off long enough to get all the pictures!

The ceremony was at Connection Pointe Church in Brownsburg and the reception was at Serendipity in Plainfield. We snapped a couple shots in Metropolis, but were limited due to the rain. Nate & Jenna were real troopers and stuck it through the rain to get some cool photos. Congratulations Nate & Jenna!
