I can't believe we've been here six days already, the time is going by so quickly. We've really come to love Guay in just the short amount of time we've been here, it so unlike any city I've ever been to. The people here are so incredibly generous, and have welcomed us like we were family.
Jackie and I both have a very limited knowledge of the Spanish language, and it's been really interesting and often comical to see us try to remembered what we learned in our college classes. Most of the time I pronounce what I think is a Spanish word, then quickly follow up with a hand gesture of some sort to demonstrate what I mean...then they correct me with how to really pronounce it. The pastor of Iglesia Central, Pastor Saul (who only speaks Spanish) and I have had a couple conversations since we both have a love for photography. If he didn't use nikon I think we could have been friends : )
God has definitely started opening our eyes and giving us a vision for the world. We've met so many amazing missionaries, just here in Bolivia, that could really use help with video & photography we wish we could stay longer and work with all of them. All in God's timing though. Pray that God continues to open doors for us to help those who are serving so diligently around the world.
